The album version of Books was used on a Film4 advert. It sounds so damn cool. Looking forward to this, the biggest release of the year/my life.
Why is it so many bands that are really rocking the airwaves these days are from across the pond. Tall Ships falls smack dab in that category. They have a great sound with excellent simple guitar riffs. Power chords for the world, there music brings me back, with a soothing indie rock…

If each track on the Tall Ships EP was a person, the party wouldn’t start until Vessels walked in.
Well yeah but Words is when people start getting their drink on, at least.

There Is Nothing But Chemistry Here is heading up to the master bedroom with the two most beautiful women at the party before everybody has even arrived.
T=0 arrives late, sees this, and throws a new party round at her place, where everyone arrives drunk, before trashing it.
Ode to Ancestors slips out of the first party to hang with the unreleased tracks off the new album because he knows he’s special.
Hit the Floor continues dancing, oblivious to all of this.
Meanwhile, Snow stays in the kitchen listening to Elliott Smith and trying to find the good coffee like the tortured and under-appreciated genius he is.
Bearandblitz chats in the kitchen to Snow for a bit, but finds him a bit pretentious and so, feeling a bit awkward, decides to leave, despite only having been there a really short time and everyone liking them.
Beanieandodger won’t stop winding the dog up.

Safe As Houses wasn’t invited because he’d made himself too obscure by refusing to associate with the others for so long. The two parties felt like something was missing but they couldn’t put their finger on it.
Amazing.
Then there is the song that no-one knows the name of yet but he turns up hammered and sings to everyone “AND I LOOOVE YOU MOOORRRREEE THAN YOU KNOOOOW” over and over again.
